Zhaoqing Helping Hand Home for the Elderly
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Helping Hand Zhaoqing Home for the Elderly fully funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Elderly home operated and managed by Helping Hand on a self-financing basis. It was established in 1998 with approval from the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government. It was awarded ‘Grade A’ accreditation for social welfare organization by the Guangdong Provincial Civil Administration Office. The first non-profit, wholly foreign-owned care home providing high-standard professional elderly care services in Zhaoqing. The commencement of operations in 2001.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust fully funded the construction of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Helping Hand Zhaoqing Home for the Elderly. CULTURAL, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
In order to allow the elderly residents to enjoy rich and dignified life in our home, The Social Service Department from our Zhaoqing home and HK supporting team jointly plan and organize a variety of cultural, social and recreational activities, such as boccia, fitness exercise class, painting class, singing class, feeding group, calligraphy class, gardening group and volunteering services.
Emotion is our soul, love makes our work happy and meaningful,
making our elderly care services "warm".

VOLUNTEER
Organisations, schools, groups and individuals are encouraged to visit our home, providing performance or bringing our residents outing so our residents can stay connect with the outside world.
